Aisha's Story

Aisha was first sexually assaulted by her father when she was 4. When she was 7, one of her teachers noticed her walking with limp. Her mother, too ashamed to bring her to a doctor, let her fractured leg go untreated. After receiving treatment for her leg, Aisha was removed from her parents' care.
